eGaming Review award nominations have now been short listed to the top contenders in 19 categories and now comes the exciting time for industry influencers to choose between the cream of the crop in the i-gaming community for the winners of each categories. Our very own CEO of Income Access, Nicky Senyard will be on the judging panel early next week to put in her nomination.

Operator of the year
This year sees an exciting line up of “e-Gaming Review’s Power 50’s” top 5 battling it out for Operator of the year.
888: headed up by Gigi Levy, 888 holds position two in the top 50 for acting as an industry “enabler” of online gaming products - acting as industry gate keeper for their partner.
Betfair: a high profile player at number 5 on the list has made an impressive agreement with Harrah’s as the official partner of the WSOP Europe.
Bwin : Will they be the ultimate number one? Will their diversity and influence across the European market and impressive group revenues influence the judges next week to give them operator of the year?
Ladbrokes: At number 3, Ladbrokes presents an impressive land-based estate portfolio and is expanding.
PartyGaming : The ‘Paris Hilton’ of the gaming industry… lets face who doesn’t want to know what Party are up to? Three chief executives and rumors of US Department settlements, what will happen next at Party?

My pick for Operator of the year is 888.

Now onto my favourite category…

Affiliate Program of the year
Two of our clients Ladbrokes and Centrebet will be competing against each other in this award and excitingly enough against two other awesome contenders Virgin and Everest! The winner is going to be a tough one to pick. Everest has an exciting portfolio of international affiliates and a great service to match. In addition Virgin, has just gone from strength to strength since they first started a few years back. With one of my favourite non-Income Access Affiliate Managers Pierrick leading the group to success, it is great to see them as a nominee.

Because I am Aussie true and through I will be routing for Centrebet. Taking a sweet spot on the power 50 they continue to show leadership as the Australian underdog developing out a stake in the European market. Finally Ladbrokes, with so much focus on expansion on land it is no surprise they are just as focused in the online space and definitely deserve a place in this category.

Irrespective we will all just have to stay tuned to the 19th of September when we get to see the winners!

These awards are ridiculous. A poker category without PokerStars? Gimmeabreak.

  • CT Moore said:

I suspect that the reason that PokerStars wasn’t nominated is that they are US-facing and these awards are European.
